Haiti Earthquake Maps

Yesterday, a 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti’s capital Port-au-Prince. There’s a lot of good information about this on the web, and most is easily found on reliable sites such as MSNBC, CNN, BBC, and Yahoo, but what about maps? If you would like to learn more about what is happening now in the earthquake’s aftershock, maps can be really helpful with information about specific location, time, magnitude, and other information too, like what people are saying about it, what news agencies are covering it, and what video coverage is available. Google Maps Mania links to some very interesting maps including the Ushahidi Earthquake Map, a map of Tweets related to the earthquake, several maps using data from the United States Geological Survey, and others.
