MA Library Search Tip #1 — Using Subjects

Hi everyone,

Today I was curious about how many graphic novels we have in the MA library. I had just checked out American Born Chinese by Gene Yang, and wanted to see what other comics the library holds.

Instead of searching for “comics,” I searched for “American Born Chinese” and from that book’s page I clicked on “Graphic Novels” in the subject list and discovered that the MA Library currently has 15 graphic novels.

So if you can find one book that fits what you’re looking for, you can always find more just by perusing that book’s subject list and going from there.
